DRR and Livelihood Officer

The role: Oxfam and the partners, with support from ECHO under the HIP programme, are going to implement a disaster risk reduction project in Kyauk Taw, Rakhine State. The resilience project will support men, women, boys and girls in targeted villages in Kyauk Taw have improved capacities to cope with man-made and natural shocks through integrated and inclusive disaster risk reduction strategies. The project will also support to strengthen livelihood activities at community level to enhance their resilience.

The post holder will be responsible to implement the project with a strong focus on enhancing resilience of livelihood of the communities living under threat of disaster and conflict through extending technical and financial support and enhancing their capacity to bounce back quickly in the event of disaster.
