Amy is a social researcher and project manager. She has worked in social enterprises, cooperatives, INGOs, small grass-roots organizations and impact investment. Amy has been working as a research fellow on inequality with Oxfam in Myanmar. Her work focuses on political and economic inequalities in Myanmar, governance and trust in fragile and conflict areas and how informal and formal tax and social services can reduce inequality. Currently, Amy is on a secondment in Sittwe, Rakhine state as the Policy and Advocacy Coordinator. She has an MA in Anthropology of Development from the school of Oriental and African Studies.
