WASH Field Coordinator

Oxfam in Myanmar is looking for WASH Field Coordinator.

The purpose of this role is to lead the effective and quality implementation of Oxfam’s Humanitarian WASH Programme in two IDP camp project sites in Sittwe. Another agency previously managed the WASH service provision in these two camps and Oxfam, in collaboration with Solidarites International, is taking over as the main WASH agency. The WASH Field Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the WASH programme in the selected programme areas, focusing on the smooth transition from the ways of working of the former WASH agency to those of Oxfam and SI. S/he will ensure high quality programme delivery, monitoring and effective accountability systems – internal and external – to ensure the relevance and quality of programme interventions in specific project sites. S/he will ensure representation, coordination and advocacy for camp specific works at relevant coordination meetings at state level (as required), and local level.
